The Pick-Up Artist Episode 8 by Blitz
I know this review is long, but I wanted to make sure I talked about everything so I broke it up into parts.
Where to start? Let’s start it this way The Dallas boot camp was like taking the red pill. What I perceived as real was all wrong. My reality was shattered and now I am a true believer. I’ll be totally honest and tell you I was skeptical about the whole community and the art of pick up. I first heard about it from the VH1 show and thought this was all bullshit. It’s got to be all fake and fixed scenarios, but I was wrong and seeing it firsthand occur in a random bar with just about anybody converted me. I know a lot of people are upset about the show and saying that it destroyed the community but it sometimes takes something as massive as that for AFC to get access to the community, and let me tell u it has not hurt the game at all. I’ll break this review up for you in pieces so that it’s not just a bunch of excited rambling, and that way I can cover everything about it. I read the material, read the forums, watched the online videos, etc. etc., but none of it compared to the boot camp in what it had to offer. Having people that are so informed about it showing you stuff from their personal experiences that can be found nowhere else is priceless. Each and every single instructor is totally invested in the ideas they are share which make them even more empowering.
The instructors
Matador, Brock, Groove, Elansin, and Swift
I have to thank each and every one of you for your genuine during the entire bootcamp. Not once did I feel like this was a stage for you to brag and show off your skill, but rather I felt like you were there to share with us information that would change our lives. I didn’t get a chance to work one on one with everyone of you but each instructor there brought something unique to the bootcamp. I don’t consider these guys friends but I feel they are more like family.
Matador
What can I say he’s the man? When he enters the room u can just feel the confidence coming off the guy. He had the whole leader of men vibe and everyone in the room couldn’t resist the urge to turn and look at him. He is also a very intelligent individual and all his theories (which are new and changing everyday) are well thought out and not just random ideas he came up with the night before. His kung fu is at a whole different level and inspires you. He’s also a very accessible and will answer any question you got even the crazy ones. We’ll get to his demos later here.
Brock
This guy screams Rockstar. When I first saw him enter the room with his Elvis shades and complete look I got the feeling that this guy was cool and he had knew what was up. As an educator is see a lot of people teaching and I have to say this guy is very good at what he does. Not once did I feel like I was sleepy (Well ok one time, sorry Groove, it was when u were talking about identity, but in my defense I didn’t get back to the hotel till 9:30 that morning and hadn’t gone to sleep yet. You weren’t boring I promise. Thanks Cory lol! And yes the bootcamp is that crazy I promise). He presents the information very clearly, and has a great presenting style that is very professional. You can tell this guy is smart and very articulate.
Groove
I didn’t spend as much time with him which I regret not doing, but he also carried the Rockstar look very well. He also presented very well and knew what he was talking about.
Elansin
This guy had the whole cool guy look, not really Rockstar, but instead that guy u wanted to hang out with at the club. I’ll be honest he did look really young and I thought what is this guy going to offer us, but he made me eat my words the first time he spoke to us. His kung fu is different and he has that personality that makes him very successful at the comfort game. He is also very critical and great at giving advice while you are role-playing in class.
Swift
This was my boy. He took me under his wing and spent a lot of time with me. He’s like Google when it comes to ideas and techniques for the game. He’s got this explosive personality that is very contagious. He did the whole GQ more clean cut pretty boy look which somehow the contrast of that and his personality made him pop even more. He’s great at doing the fun party guy thing when we go out and kinos girls like crazy. I have to give an extra thank you to this guy for his help, and I will not let you down.
For all of you that are skeptical about the quality of the instructors, don’t be most of these guys are college educated or are going to college and they are very intelligent, not just party guys out to make a buck (BUT OMG THEY CAN PARTY!)
The Seminar Portion
I’ll give the pros and the cons about what we did during the day.
The Pros
The information we got during this part of the day was fantastic. It reinforced the whole Venusian Arts method, which is Mystery’s Method. At the same time it offered stuff that was completely new and not out on the web. The day schedule was supposed to be from 2-6. Each day started at about 2 and ended at about 9:30 so that was about 7 hours each day of techniques. They even bought us pizza so we didn’t waste time going out to eat, which was great because it was that much more class time. Each instructor would present on different parts of the method, and Matador also taught very large portions of the seminar himself. So it was great hearing it from one of the true masters. It really makes it stick with you. We got to get in groups and role-play and ask our questions about our sticking points so we could overcome them. In comparison to the review I read about the previous bootcamps very little time was wasted, breaks were short and it was back to work. They are really getting their bootcamps together.
The Cons
The information was so much it seemed hard to squeeze it into 3 days. Also I would have been nice to have been provided a packet at the end of the class with all the information covered so we could use that to fill in the gaps in our notes. Time to practice our routines would have also been nice. I was hard with class letting out at 9:30 and the night portion starting at 10:30. The hour barely gave us enough time to get ready. Some videos of infield stuff would have been great, so that the instructors could point out what was being done correctly and incorrectly. Maybe they can get some spy cameras and give them to students that volunteer in upcoming bootcamps that way they can get some new footage that they can use for this purpose. Even with the 7 hour day it was still too short for the amount of information.
The night portion
Ok this is the fun part. Honestly I can’t find any cons for this except that I wish I could have been in more than one place at a time to see everyone demo and the second night I did miss a lot of Matadors demos. (Spy camera guys you need to get some). At the same time I can’t complain about missing those demos because I was out opening my own sets. That is the key to the night portion u have to just say FUCK IT! And open, open, and open. It’s all practice.
Night 1
The first night was demo’s night, and let me tell you everything you hear about Matador is true. He was out picking up girls, grabbing their tits, grabbing their asses, and making out with them. The crazy part is that instead of slapping him they were loving it. All the instructors were out opening set and asking if we wanted to see demos. There were no excuses given by any of them if you did want them to open. They would simply go in ad open, and every set would just smile and have a good time. It was incredible. As for my set opening ability, I was still really nervous, and instead of making it worse they were there to encourage and remind us that we were the Alfa males and everyone wanted to talk to us. I did manage to open 4 sets that night which was still the best I had done in a long time
Night 2
The second night was a whole new animal. Matador continued to open sets and just have girls all over him. His game was so good, one time he just went up to a girl looked at her and they started making out, she even insisted the 2nd kiss. At one point he had 4 girls in a row basically line up and just made out with each one. But then came the superhero kung fu slow-motion matrix move of the night. The girl that he had walked up to earlier and just started making out with came back and after a little game he grabbed her and disappeared. Well lets just put it this was you know Debbie Does Dallas, well that all I have to say. I cant even make this shit up to saound any crazier. As far as me I decided earlier that day in class after working on tighten my opener and DHV story that I was going to go out and open everybody, I just didn’t give a shit who they were, they were going to be grateful that I evne talked to them that night. So get this I went from 4 sets the night before to a staggering 31 (yes you read that right bitches lol), kiss closed 2 (more like made out), and got groped on one. The crazy part about all this is that I only got blown out of one set. The previos night I got blow out of 3 of my 4 ha-ha. My kung fu was strong that night, but I still have a lot to learn especially on how to escalate and understand their reactions to do that. The thing is everything in the set at first happened at the speed of light and if you think about it you lose it. I’ll talk about 1 highlight because I don’t want to chew your ear off. On third set I was with my boy Swift and he say a girl dancing by herself and tell me to go grab her hand and twirl her (btw girls love to be twirled, it always works and they never refuse). I did that and then she turns and grabs me all laughing and happy ask questions that I have no idea what they were. Then she turned to a guy that was standing by the bar and said that she was there with her boyfriend. So swift goes in and takes him, I go in and introduce myself. He’s all smiles, and then she asks her boyfriend if I could take her to the dance floor. So get this third set and I’m already stealing a girl from her boyfriend, I fucking love it. So we go out and immediately she grabs my hands and puts them on her ass. While we are dancing she grabs my hands and puts them on her tits, so no I’m just rolling with it and I lean in starting biting the neck pull up and as I do that I get a tongue from my chin to my nose. So we start making out ha-ha. This went on for a while but the night was young, I wanted to open more sets. So I see this guy that was watching us dance behind the girl (creepy fucker) point to her point to him thumbs up him spin her and give her away. Best part about it was as I left I petted the guy on the head and said goodbye. So yes there is hope for everyone and bootcamp is definitely a ticket to get there.
Swift all I have to say is the Sinister Smile gambit is all kinds of fun and made kino happen almost instantly.
Also special thanks to our 3 girl pivots they were great at making us look so important special thanks to Jennifer for walking around the club arm in arm and pumping me up to other people. Also Laura that Smell gambit was the bomb. I am so going to use that one.
Final Thoughts
Overall I would rate VA bootcamps 9.5 out of 10. The information was great the club nights were awesome. The people were fantastic. Each of the instructors gave their numbers to us and told us to call them anytime we needed to. Brock wants each of his students to call or email him every week with updates. So they do invest more than just one weekend when you sign up for the bootcamp. I highly recommend attending one if u can it’s the best money u will spend. I’m in Graduate School and I feel I got more out of these 3 days than I have in 5 months of college. It basically is Social College, and the information we learned can be used in more than just picking up girls. It’s all about a lifestyle of confidence and success. You can’t wait for your life to change you have to make it change, and this is a great place to start. Thank you all again and look forward to attending another bootcamp and hopefully you’ll be in Texas again.
I will tell you what, reading reviews and hearing what a bootcamp with Matador and Brock is like can only do so much!!! Words cannot describe this weekend’s experience!
First and foremost, all of the instructors…Matador, Brock, Brian, Steven, Adam…and the pivots…wow! How great!
The first night out (demo night) we were blessed with the honor of seeing Matador endlessly making out with one girl after another…at one point, I think he amazed himself…
The instructors really did a great job of helping to motivate the students into sets and helped us get over a lot of our sticking points…I opened more sets the first night than I had ever opened in a single night before…
The second night, a furtherance of amazement! Matador…what can I say…the BAM BAM BAM BAM make outs….one right after another! Then there was his…oh, I will leave that out! Leave it at this…MATADOR IS THE MAN!
Brock is an awesome instructor! His way of conveying the information so that it is easily understood was just amazing. His upbeat attitude and straight out passion for PU comes out in everything that he teaches…love the afro btw Brock! LOVE IT!
Swift, Groove, Elizan (I think that is how he spelled it)…all great teachers as well. Groove and Elizan are really down to earth and are great at motivating you to get in there. Swift…what can I say about Swift…well, his personality really rubbed on me at first but then I got over it and saw that his high energy and abilities at PU are phenominal….remember Swift…not the negative for me brother!
Over all, great experience. I would suggest to anyone and everyone that is serious about moving their game forward and improving their skills…TAKE A BOOTCAMP! If you can afford it, do it!
There are always areas that can be improved upon in every class and this one is no exception. The amount of time for the classroom sessions was too short. We went over EVERY night. I think that could definately be improved upon. Some videos in class to demonstrate what is being taught would help imensly also.
I WILL go to another Bootcamp when I am able to do so! It was an experience of a lifetime and I will NEVER forget it! Thanks everyone!!!!
PS – I know I didn’t get (or give) contact information to everyone in the class…anyone that was in the class can PM me to keep in touch! Happy Sarging!!
Make sure you guys make Knack an instructor! Back in the Miami bootcamp I only opened up one set, but in AC Knack wouldn’t let me fail. He kept pushing me into sets, even if I didn’t have a lot of material to use. It made me realize that all this time I was scared to approach women, it wasn’t really anything serious. I got blown out a whole bunch of times simply because I wasn’t doing everything correctly. Either I wasn’t approaching right, not talking loud enough, not having enough energy and enthusiasm, not locking in, etc… But the thing was that all these times that I got blown out, nothing really happened to affect me. It felt just like a video game. I fucked up in the first level and just kept moving on to retry it on other people, until finally I actually made it into A3 with one girl and pulled her out to dance. Throughout all the sets I opened, Knack would point out exactly what I was doing wrong, so now I know what to watch out for.
Hawaii was great by giving me a new opener and helping me test it out on people in the casinos before I actually used it. Everybody thought I looked like a young Sammy Hagar from Van Halen, except my hair was shorter and dark brown, so I incorporated that into an opener. He was also helpful in giving me and the rest of the students interesting A2 gambits and routines that we can use to keep the conversation going. My problem in Miami was that I didn’t get many routines. Hawaii gave me so many I could last in A2 for a while, even without telling any DHV stories.
Matador was the man! The guy is just so passionate about what he does and teaches that you just feel his energy. Whenever he started teaching, I just couldn’t look away, he was just that interesting to watch and listen to. Plus, he really helped me understand A3 a lot more. I now understand more about how to caveman and be aggresive, and he also helped me understand more about my identity. I couldn’t understand something about my core values, and he only guessed at it by how he read me and helped me see things a lot clearer.
I didn’t spend a lot of time with Brock in field, but when I did he was always boosting me up with confidence and letting me know that I was doing so much better. He’s a really cool guy. He also had some very cool things to say during the class, especially the Pirates or Ninjas routine.
What made the experience better than Miami too was the other students that attended. Miami was such a big class, but in AC I was able to get to know everybody a lot better, especially since the instructors involved us so much more, instead of just teaching non stop. One of the guys, Chris # 2 helped me see that I really need to get out of my current job, go back to school and build a better future for myself….Thanks man!
Overall, the experience I had in AC was phenomenal. I felt so much more involved and came back with much more experience than the Miami bootcamp. I wanted to thank all the bootcamp instructors again, especially Knack for getting me out there in the first place and killing my approach anxiety. I hope to join you guys again some time in the future, hopefully with better game.
Also, I sent out an email to all my fellow students about the MySpace group, so we can all keep in touch. Check your email and join up as soon as you can. I look forward to speaking with you all.
Thanx 2 Hawaii, Matador, Brock, and Knack (who is the fucking bomb).
Muzik man basically said it all – so check his feedback.
Bottom line, if you have the $$, you have to go and see it for real. The skills and art are something that need to be witnessed. Every instructor has crazy game and they are all mad cool. Matador’s game is also all its hyped to be. I had the chance to bounce with him and two gurls on the second night and watch him run solid game. That in itself was worth the price of admission.
thanx: Thanx Hawaii for running the bootcamp, helping me one on one, and 4 being so fucking cool! Thanx Brock and Knack for taking the time to work one on one with me each night and for helping me with my game.
Ultimate benefits: 1) All the instructors were crazy accessable and willing to share knowledge; 2) Meeting a lot of up and coming PUAs who are mad cool.

(Im not a player, I just got a nice smile.)
What up to my fellow gamers out there that wondering and thinking about us this weekend.
First and for most thank to Matador, Brock, Hawaii and Super Knack( thats right super)
I must say the show is an understatement to the things that these guys can do, especially when you are up close and watching things in demo mode. Matador does make things look so easy in set, but at the same time there is alot of mechanics to what he’s doing it really in mayhem when he’s in set
For example ( Imagine you are grinding on one girl, then your merging the set and your gaming another girl at that) At one point there was Time when Matador was going straight cave man on this girl that had fake tits, he was so f*cking good that he rubbed his face in her tits. ( and yes he will teach you how to go straight caveman) Overall he had us on the edge of our seat with his lecturing skills. He brought his material alive in the classroom, by making sound do clear.
On to my man Brock, Who I felt his style in very reminiscent of how I think I will be in time. We both dance, which was sick and he has this charasmatic game that I feel is hiding inside of me, He awokened my more playful side of game, telling me to smile more and be more playful. When I implemented this into my game It really worked like a charm. I got to spend alot of time with him in set on demo night. I took some of the routines that he has and I can’t wait to use them here in NY.
Hawaii was a good lecturer, he was great for gambits, routines, negs and cocky and funny material. He was very focused on us on friday night which was good. And he literally forced us into sets which killed alot of AA. He demoed on time for us, he really showed us hoe to neg the shit out of a grl that threw alot of shit tests. One thing abut Hawaii is that he really keeps his cool.
To be honest theres gonna be a reason i keep this line short. If u meet him u’ll know why I did. KNACK IS THE FUCKIN MAN. ( thank you bro for taking care of me all weekend.)
As for Friday night the club started of slow but as the night went on it started to fill up, My first set Matador coached me, I was using the routines, keeping this girl in awe. Matador literally came next to me and told me to do more kino, ( which is so crucial). Overall My friday was mediocre, Really didnt do to well only opening 5 sets, Brock and matador told me that I needed to KINO more and also locking in. My problem on friday was to get more into A3
Saturday was the complete opposite, Where I opened like 9 sets. Knack was the one who saw all of them. He was really coaching on satrday. But the way i Kinoed and locked in and handled the obstacles and everthing else was told to me was like poetry in motion, at least knack said that. I on the other hand know I could havedoone alot better, although i did number close. Remember Kosmo on the show when he had the two girls on his hands, that was me saturday night. It was really a complete turn around.
The one thing I wish I did have was a little more coaching from matador and brock on saturday, but I guess the thought I was fin, who knows.
The one thig that you should know about the bootcamps, they can turn out where everyone is occupied in set and your wanting a coach to watch you, dont get mad and just stand there. What you should do is just keep on opening sets. There are gonna be students that need more attention so donn’t take it personal. I did but Im over it because irealized that I actually was fine.
There will be times when the instructors are occupied, and there’s know one to coach you. Just grab your balls and open a set, and don’t get mad
That was the one con about the bootcamp( more quality time) I wish there was more time management as well, So I do agree with music man.
But again I learned so much more by taking the boot camp than by reading a book or watching you tube. I cant wait to c u all again thaks fellas for this life changing weekend.
Hey all…
Just got back from the Atlantic City 2007 Bootcamp. I know
before I signed up for a BC, I read every review I could
find, so I figured this could help others out about knowing
what it’s like. (Plus some of the students in the class
said they wanted to post some comments here…which means
time to kick off the thread).
INSTRUCTORS: Major thanks to Matador and Brock for
helping making my Sat night success happen (I kept
hammering them both with questions when I was in set – see
below). Matador’s main role is a guest instructor during
the day, and someone to demo what is possible at night.
(Yes, everything you’ve read about his "powers" is
true.)…so the opportunity to get critiques and feedback
from him was good.
Hawaii was very down to earth and was all about giving us
practical "how to" info that would work in field.
Unfortunately, I never got to open sets with him (simply
because of logistics each night…I ended up with Matador
or Brock)…but the people who worked with him had good
things to say. He’s low key and very "chill" – which goes
a long way in my book. And also helped get A1-A2 material
stack going for us – thanks for giving us HOFBELS Hawaii!
Brock is great – he’s got style and I thought he was very
cool (turns out we have a very similiar background, so I
really hit it off with him…and he gave me great advice to
hit the kiss close).
And a new star on the scene (who will probably
become a new trainer for VA at some point) was Knack.
Every student was raving about him – he stayed with us
every single minute of the weekend and was only concerned
with making sure we were learning stuff. He was very
aggressive about getting people into sets. At first, that
turned me off, but I very quickly warmed up to him and have
a lot of respect for his style and personality (I heard
nothing but praise for him). Keep your eye out for this
guy – thanks for being so helpful Knack.
PROS: Being in a long-term relationship up
until recently, this weekend was a "drink from the
firehose" experience since I haven’t had a chance to go out
and do this in the past. My goal going into it was a kiss
close…and after Friday’s "demo night" (where you see the
trainers in action) – I was suddenly realizing how complex
this is and decided to settle for just good A1, A2 and A3
for Sat night.
Well, come Sat night (after building up confidence on
Saturday during our roleplaying, etc.) – I realized it
would be possible. In fact, I was fortunate enough to open
a few sets each night with Matador himself…and while I
was aiming to open 10+ sets on Saturday night..the 2nd set
I opened…I locked in with (not going to share ALL the
details here)…and spent 2 hours with my gal (Matador was
on the other side of our VIP booth with his gal)…and
ended up kiss closing her using help from Brock and some
kino techniques from Knack and Matador. While there was
still better A2/A3 that could have been done…WOO HOO.
I also did open a couple other hot sets too.
And I kissed her at the end of the night (she kissed me a few
times before she left actually) and number closed her.
Considering this was first time really out gaming at this
level, I was quite happy – and she even had a head on her
shoulders and some good brains.
The combination of "infield" and "theory" was very
valuable. ALL of the trainers knew their shit cold. There
was no BS with them – they are the real deal. Let’s just
say they had very good evenings both nights.
CONS: I’ll be honest, I gave them a poor
review on the forms early in the day Sunday when were asked
to review (it was mainly the "workshop" portion I felt this
way about – not necessarily because of the content, but
because of the way it was run). The way the forms were set
up, I really didn’t have an "inbetween" option. I would
revise my review now a bit based on the content covered
later in the day on Sunday and the chance to have my
personal questions answered by Hawaii and Matador.
The biggest drawbacks I (and from talking with other
students) experienced was a lack of organization during the
day portions.
A 5 minute break would last 30 minutes. And while we always
went several hours late, we never started on time (Sunday
ended at 1am…and Matador was covering GREAT content…but
if we hadn’t started 2.5 hours late on Sunday…we wouldn’t
have ended that late either – we did debriefs with Knack
starting on time on Sunday, but most of us had already
discussed our field reports with each other at that point,
instead of needed to do it for another 2.5-3 hours before
things got started). And sometimes we’d get off on a
tangent from a student question that had nothing to do with
where were in the workshop or what Matador or Hawaii were
covering.
Many of us were also hoping to get the "routine guides"
they were passing around for us to look at, but alas, they
wouldn’t give us a copy of them…which left us to either
sit there and hand copy anything that sparked our interest
(and miss out on the teaching being shared during the day
while we tried to furiously hand copy tons of material).
Yes, really artful game isn’t about routines…but about
the psychology behind the interaction…and the MPUAs
teaching us…definitely don’t rely on routine guides. But
for us newbies…that type of stuff is needed in the
beginning (especially at $4k/person – that’s not a small
amount, especially for many of the students there). I’ve
been to a good deal of $5k, $10k and $15k bootcamps,
seminars and workshops in a variety of niches – so I’m
using that as my baseline for this and for how they can be
run and delivered. I know the company is still very young,
so hopefully the professionalism of the way the event is
run (and the handouts you get) will improve for future BCs.
It should for the investment.
OVERALL: It was a good learning experience
that really opened my eyes to what is possible. And it
also opened our eyes to how this impacts OTHER areas of
your life too – it’s not about getting laid all the time
(it can be if that’s what you want though)…it’s got a lot
greater implication for how you approach your life and
challenges.
This is a high pricepoint obviously and the real value will
come from this if you are willing to go outside your
comfort zone a bit (you can only expect so much from
external forces)…and if you are willing to ASK QUESTIONS
when you are confused or stuck.
Even though I came down hard on how the day portion was
run, the trainers were all VERY accessible and
willing to answer ANYTHING and EVERYTHING asked. For me,
that interaction was very valuable…far beyond anything
you can get in a book (especially since the TV show burned
some of the good lines from the book).
You simply can’t make this type of progress this quickly
without a BC-type coaching experience.
Also, there was value (as there is at any live event)
in the networking portion. I made some great new friends,
both with the students AND the trainers. A $4k
customer/student is much different than a $20 book buyer,
so you’re getting people who aren’t just talking about
it…but who are actually doing it and serious about
investing into it. This is something I can see continuing
with – and already have plans to get back in the field with
some of the folks from this weekend. (And I could see
myself working in field with some of the trainers again).
Okay – that’s all folks…time for dinner. Hopefully that
helps those of you who are unsure or are on the fence!
Best wishes,
TMM
Hey Guys,
I was blown out of my fucking mind! For the most part, Matador taught the entire weekend, and let me tell you, a good portion of the things he covered I have never read anywhere, and they are not in any books! This guy is brilliant, and has obviously spent alot of time thinking about and deducting what he does and what goes on.
Hawaii and Matador taught the workshops at night. Both did a great job- back to that in a moment.
But in the room, Matador got into things about pickup that you don’t know, you don’t know, till he points it out to you! Then, your like, oh fuck, I never even considered that could be important, and in fact, its more important that anything you say!!!
Dudes, you have no idea just how strong this guys game is till you see him in action, and I was standing right next to him watching and listening. But more important for the aspiring PUA, is that Matador breaks it down and your realize there are two different things going on at the SAME TIME.
The verbal communication thread, which we all know, but more important, and I cannot overemphasize how this totally changed my concept of game and pick up, its all the non verbal subtle moves that create IOI’s, IOD, etc that he taught, and how they work. We got down to which way you point your feet! I mean, he had books on the floor because people were not pointing their feet in the right way to deliver the opener in such a manner as it works best. He broke it down like I have never seen. He addressed each guy several times on things specific to them. He is a master at spotting in congruent moves!
Then, we got out and I watch him do the arts, and its like, over the top. He pulled the first night, and we both were right there to pull the second night, but logistics were a problem. Heres what happened:
I was working a set with Matador, he had one, I had the other, and we had them isolated. He’s kissing his girl, I am kissing my girl, and all of a sudden, my girls blurts out to me " I want to fuck you!" " Where can we go?" But, the problem at that point was logistics, etc. so we number closed and moved on. That pretty much convinced me that something was way different about this bootcamp and what he was teaching me!
Now, like some of you guys, I went to the old company bootcamp, thinking it was Mysterys company. But, it wasnt. And now having done both, I can attest that Venusian Arts and what they teach was far far superior to the old company, and is a whole new level of game that is NOT out in paperback!
We spent way more time with the instructors, it was a much smaller group, we got alot more personally time, and they taught alot more material.
But most important, which is what I thought, it appears to me, my personal opinion, that the technology of what Mystery, along with Matador, develops and its ongoing development, is NOT the same as what they teach at the old company. In fact, I would say that the old company omitted information, taught things differently, and was not as thorough with the information as these guys were.
Like others have posted, Hawaii is a super cool guy, and very much takes care to ensure the attendees have a great bootcamp, and all goes smooth.
Matador and Hawaii both pushed us into sets over and over, and then we would work what happened.
From what I gather Matador is not going to be doing these bootcamps forever, because he has other opportunities and other interests that he is working on. Suffice to say, get em while you can, because just like what happened with Mystery, who now rarely teaches bootcamps anymore as he has so much other things going on, I suspect Matador wont be doing this as much either. Its a rare glimpse at a level of game that is the very best.
THanks for Mystery as well.
Rock on.

PS. Vegas is a great place to sarge – lots of venues, lots of ladies, and 24/7 action. Saturday nights venue was by far and away the best for a club I have been too. WE keep where we went for future attendees.
